“But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into
the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all
things, yea, the deep things of God.”
1 Cor 2:9 – 10 (KJV)
Case Study Text:
“And
so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was
made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but
that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is
of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”

Cor 15:45 – 47 (KJV)
On that faithful day, Peter stood up
among his people and began to declare the gospel of the New Testament, a
Testament established on the death burial and resurrection and ascension of
Jesus Christ, the Messiah. He preached repentance and forgiveness of sin in His
name, a thing that has not been known and done before. A few days ago He was
walking the street of Jerusalem healing, preaching, teaching and bringing
people to the faith, making them to believe in Him and be in the Kingdom of God
which He avowed to them. But now the story is different, just preaching in His
name, many are being made righteous and are brought into the kingdom of light.
They are receiving healing in His name, deliverance in His name, anointing in
His name. And yet many of these people who believe in Him are not doing so
because they knew Him before this time, but because they received the gospel
preached in His name and an inner transformation and recreation took place in
their life.
Their reasoning couldn’t fathom it
because it is not a sensual exercise but a spiritual thing which is not
acknowledged by mere feelings but an inner conviction rooted in their knower
such that they cannot be swayed or veered by external force or imagination. Though,
they didn’t know Him after flesh, yet they are willing to go extra mile and be
persecuted for their belief in Him. It is interesting to know that their
readiness to die or be persecuted by the authority is not based on the fact
that He left something tangible as in treasure, wealth or properties for them
to inherit. If that is the case it would have been worthwhile suffering anything, after all there is something to lay hand on, judging from a human
perspective. So it amounts to some sort of stupidity for them and even as many
today that have followed His way to accept such fate without something really
visible to hook on. The fact is that there is something an outsider cannot be
able to explain simply because he or she is not an insider. There is something
that has transpired in the life of people who believes in Him that those who do
not, cannot comprehend because they are working by their natural senses and the
things of God are foolishness to the natural man (1Cor 1:18 – 20), but to those
of them that believes it is power.
Notice that the Second Adam is the
Lord from heaven, but the Last Adam is a quickening (Life giving) Spirit. This
is the difference, anyone who receives Jesus Christ in his or her spirit
receives a life that he or she has not before. Such transformation resonates in
the spirit of the receiver and no one except him or her understands what has
transpired on the inside. This life
giving Spirit that comes into man and dwells is the reason for the exceptional
and extraordinary disposition of the believer even in the face of death he or
she looks unperturbed.
So there is a paradigm shift in the
act of worshipping God, things have gone from the physical act of worship to
the spiritual act of worship. The veil of the temple has been torn and the Holy
of the Holies has been exposed everyone can come in. The wall of partition
between the Jews and the Gentile has been broken; the people that were not a
people have been made heirs of God alleluia! The gentiles and the poor are
hearing the gospel and are being saved, they are receiving the seal of the Holy
Ghost as well, and there is now no difference between the Jews and the
Gentiles. This has been the purpose of God even before the foundation of the
earth that by the death of the incarnate Jesus there shall emanate the Last
Adam and forgiveness of sin shall be obtained and people will become sons of
God. So both the Jews and the Gentiles that believe are called the sons of God,
and peradventure anyone refused to believe whether Jew or Gentile he or she is
not a son of God! To be a son of God is to come into a
place and the place is called in Christ!
And I welcome you as you come into
this place called Christ!
Till I come your way again, keep on
basking in the Arena of Indubitable Truth!
