Understanding The Three Adams (4)

“But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into
the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But
God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all
things, yea, the deep things of God.”
1 Cor 2:9 – 10 (KJV)
Case Study Text:
“And
so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was
made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but
that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is
of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”

Cor 15:45 – 47 (KJV)
Before I continue, I would like us to
accept the fact that the tree that bears the fruit of knowledge of good and
evil is also created for man’s consumption. Just like it is right to have
babies, but one have to acknowledge the fact that the proper way to have babies
is for one to get married. Having babies outside marriage is termed having
babies out of wedlock which is a negative statement and depicts something wrong
in a marriage. And as a matter of fact, that fruit is for man because in it is
knowledge and not just knowledge but knowledge of good and evil. So it gives
the ability to decipher what is good and what is bad, but eating the fruit of
knowledge of good and evil without eating the fruit of life first is tantamount
to pollution and corruption.
This is because, it is the fruit of
life that will give the man the required ability to handle what is good and
what is bad as supposed in God and not in the way of man. The fact is that
there are lots of things that are right in the sight of man but as far as God
is concerned, such is an abomination. However, the same way it is, if man has
established himself in God, whatever he acquires in life does not get into his
head because he has inherent ability rooted in his knowledge of God to have
control over the lustful tendencies of material acquisition. The reverse is the
case if man lives his life outside God. However, the after effect of this is
seen in the life of the offspring of Adam as pollution and corruption was the
order of the day in their existence. On the other hand, if the man had gone to
eat the fruit of life, he would have become a monster and to redeem him will
not be possible. That is why God took the best decision to get him out
of the way and set agenda for his redemption.
As earlier stated, there was no fruit
eaten, the word fruit represent thought, God told man don’t think the way of
the world, think the way I think. Though you were made of the natural things
but the only way to become like me is to think like me and become me. If you
continue to think the way of the world, you will die because everything in this
world passes away but when you think like me, you will remain in me and in me
there is no death. Therefore, the way to remain pure in your thought is to
anchor your thoughts in my direction and you will be transformed in and to my
image and you will become me. When your thought is hooked on my thought, you
will connect to my DNA and everything about me will penetrate you to change
your mentality and reasoning to align with mine and you will become my son and
not just my creation. But if you don’t, you will have no part in me and you
will be like other creations that I created and have mere existence.
If Adam has eaten a fruit, there is no
way he would have been polluted, because fruit does not pollute someone, it
goes in through the mouth and goes out through the rear outlet (Matt 15:16 –
20, 19:17 – 21). It is an evidence that Cain did not kill Abel because he went
and ate one kind of fruit, but because he had wrong thought and such thought
grew bigger in him and as a result he went ahead to commit murder even against
God’s advice to him (Gen 4:6). As things continue to unfold in this manner, God 'cried' out vehemently against the ways of man, because the thoughts of his heart
is evil and cannot produce anything that represent the thought of God (Gen
6:5). Here, God didn’t cry because man has gone to eat anything but because man
has inclined his heart in thinking evil and the product of his heart manifested
in the evil practices they embroiled into. The wrong choice of Adam produced a
DNA that is evil and manifest death in his life, and such is passed on to his
offspring (Rom 5:12).
As the man took the option of taking
the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil against the advice of God,
Adam succeeded in bringing these things: disobedience, sin, transgression and
death into the world. And if he had taken the fruit from the tree of life, he
would have maintained obedience, and establishes righteousness and life in the
world. Also, that would have established his mandate here on earth; I mean the
mandate to have dominion over everything on the earth. This is the glory of
man, but as he sinned, he came short of this glory. To restore him to this
glory there is the need for the process to start afresh, and that is the
redemptive process.
